I have a solo exhibition of new oil on canvas paintings opening Friday June 27 until July 23, 2008. Marten Arts is an art gallery selling paintings, sculptures and fine craft that has represented my work for many years. Located in Bayfield, Ontario on the shores of Lake Huron, Marten Arts gallery makes a nice day trip from Toronto (about 2.5 hours drive).

This solo show will be my only exhibition this summer. I'll be following it with a solo show in Montreal at the Shayne Gallery in the fall.

In December of last year, I sold my house and studio in Kitchener where I had been living for the last 4 years, and moved to Toronto.  Over the years I have had many people make the trip to see me in my studio (you can see photos of my old space under the studio category); hopefully being in Toronto will now be more convenient for everyone. As an artist, I'm excited to be closer to more art galleries and museums and the urban life of a bigger city. Who knows what new inspirations and paintings will come from my new surroundings?!



I'm also really enjoying the view from my new place!!
